2012 Short Story Contest Winners:
1st Prize: Mischief,
by Kelly Quinn of Ottawa, ON.
Mischief was a chilling and tightly written family tale, with an almost Roald Dahl-esque nastiness.
2nd Prize: The Beret and the Bank,
by Wynn Quon of Ottawa, ON.
The Beret and the Bank was a terrific spin on the bank caper, with fascinating technical details and a clever double-cross.
3rd Prize: Ginger Cates Garden,
by Denis St. Jean of Ottawa, ON.
Ginger Cate’s Garden was a well-rounded, understated tale with an original twist on a classic theme..
